Methodology

The LinkArchitect Methodology

Most agencies hide their process behind vague claims. We publish ours. Here's exactly how publishers are vetted, how anchors are decided, what we refuse to do, and what every engagement actually delivers.

1. Publisher vetting — the three-point check

Every prospect publisher passes a mandatory three-point check before any outreach begins. We've rejected over 8,000 publishers in the last 24 months for failing one or more of these criteria. • Real organic traffic — Ahrefs traffic ≥ 500/month on the placement page or section, verified across two tools. • Topical relevance — the publisher's primary topic must overlap with your category, sub-category, or an adjacent niche. Generic 'business' publishers are rejected. • Editorial standards — manually audited for paid disclosure clauses, link-marketplace listings, sponsored-only content, or AI-generated filler. Any of these = rejected.

2. Anchor text distribution

Anchor distribution is mapped per campaign with the following defaults (adjusted to your existing profile): • 35–45% branded ('LinkArchitect', 'LinkArchitect.in') • 25–35% naked URL or partial branded • 15–25% partial match (descriptive, including target keyword fragments) • 5–10% exact match (one or two priority commercial keywords) • 5–10% generic ('learn more', 'this guide') Distribution is reviewed quarterly against your current backlink profile. We adjust mix to keep the profile natural and avoid over-optimization penalties.

3. What we will not do

Published list of services we refuse to provide, even when asked: • PBNs (private blog networks) — period. • Comment, forum, or profile spam. • Link insertions on pages built specifically to sell placements. • Placements with rel=sponsored disclosure (paid link signals to Google). • Translation-spinning or AI-generated host content. • Negative SEO or competitor disavow campaigns. • Placements in restricted verticals: gambling, adult, pharmaceuticals (without prescription). • Reciprocal link schemes.

4. Outreach standards

Outreach is 100% manual. No Pitchbox, no Buzzstream auto-sequences, no bulk mail-merges. Every pitch is written individually by a senior outreach lead and references the publisher's recent coverage. Average reply rate across all verticals: 22–28%. We log every outbound email, every reply, every rejection, and every win — exportable from your client portal.

5. Reporting transparency

Every placement is delivered with the following metadata, logged in your client portal and exportable: • Live URL on publisher • Anchor text used • Target URL linked to • Publisher DR, referring domains, organic traffic • Topical match score against your category • Date pitched, date approved, date live • Audit log of all communication No black-box reporting. No vague 'placement count' summaries. Every link is verifiable.

6. Replacement guarantee

Any placement that drops, gets removed, or has its anchor modified within 90 days of going live is replaced at no cost. Replacement is automatic — we monitor every live placement weekly and trigger replacement outreach the moment a drop is detected.

7. Engagement ethics

We work exclusively with brands we believe in. We turn down approximately 30% of inbound engagement requests for misalignment — typically aggressive black-hat history, products in restricted verticals, or unrealistic ranking expectations driven by previous spam vendors. No engagement is started without a discovery call where both sides confirm fit.
